Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain an attractive and organized cookie display booth.
- Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Educate customers about our cookies, including ingredients and flavors.
- Provide exceptional customer service and answer any inquiries.
- Assist customers in making selections and offer recommendations.
- Accurately handle cash transactions and provide change.
- Maintain inventory levels and replenish stock as needed.
- Keep the booth clean and presentable throughout the day.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and successful market day.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Previous sales or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
- Passion for delicious cookies and a willingness to learn about our products.
Schedule: This is a seasonal part-time position that primarily requires weekend availability, as farmers markets are typically held on Saturdays and/or Sundays. The season may vary depending on the local market schedule.
